COMMUNITY

Every home which SPJ builds relies on a community effort.

The resources for labor, materials and people looking out for one another in ever changing times,

amidst bouts of violence and poverty everywhere.

Facing challenges of "Mother Nature" as well as man made problems.

Building a Self-Sustaining Community requires...
a Library -
SPJ has built one
c
omplete with books, computers,
craft activities, board games, video room....

A Self-Sustaining Community also requires...an Activity Center (gymnasium)

SPJ has built a 15,000 square foot gymnasium. A place where women can learn proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices, while working out. A place where children can be safe in an after school activities program complete with snack!

Every Self-Sustaining Community has to provide a place for people to work.

SPJ has built a 14,000 sq ft Mercado.

20 Vendors have businesses initially backed by SPJ sponsors.

Micro loans make the difference in starting a new endeavor.

Join the SPJ group of small business sponsors to give a helping hand to get a small business started and help SPJ build a self-sustaining community.
